From Israel , the religious centre of the world, the Discalced Carmelites of the Holy Land embrace all humanity with our incessant prayer which rises from sunrise until sunset.
Our life as a response to the personal and unique free love of God reflects the history of God to humanity, history of spousal love, prepared in the Old Covenant and consummated in the fullness of time.
We are part of the people of the alliance invited to host the Word recreating it, being ourselves Holy Land , where Jesus might revive His entire mystery of Incarnation, hidden life, work, prayer and intercession before the Father.
We offer ourselves as a sacrifice of praise that all may reach the fullness of revelation.
With Mary Daughter of Zion , we live in the promise and simplicity of our lives; we seek witness to the God of hope, constantly reveals Himself in our history.
We live with joy our total consecration to God in the harmony of silence, solitude and fraternal life. Our communities have the stamp of internationality. In this context we are called to live unity in diversity as a prelude to the unity of the whole Church in one body animated by love.
In the line of continuity with the prophets, with St. Elijah -particularly venerated in the Holy Land- and who the Carmelites regard as their father and guide, with all the righteous who believed in the promises, we want to be a prophetic sign that invites going forward to a promised land that does not belong to the geography of this world.
